We have 5 different Scout units to meet your family needs at Trinity United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro, TN.
Troop 2019 for all female youth ages 11-17 (Tuesdays at 6:30 PM)
Troop 416 for all male youth ages 11-17 (Tuesdays at 6:30 PM)
Pack 2019 for female & male youth in K-4 grades (Tuesdays at 6:30 PM)
Ship 1919 is a coed unit for all youth ages 14-20 with a focus on paddle craft (most Tuesdays at 6:30 PM)
Crew 197 is a coed unit for all youth ages 14-20 (most Tuesdays at 6:30 PM)
We welcome all youth and parents to visit us at 6:30 PM on Tuesday nights. All of our units maintain the following standards for the safety of our youth:
requires all registered adults to maintain and abide by BSA Youth Protection Training
requires position specific training for all registered leaders
requires registered adult female leaders at all events for our female units
support and follow the Scout Oath, Scout Law, and Outdoor Code
THE AIMS AND METHODS OF SCOUTING
The Scouting program has specific objectives, commonly referred to as the “Aims of Scouting.” They are character development, leadership development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Leadership development is also one of Scoutings eight methods contributing to both good character and good citizenship.
VISION STATEMENT
The Boy Scouts of America will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
